sean Riley
Sean was a journeyman as a young athlete, trying various sports and achieving varying success along the way. He decided to “have a go” at an Ironman, despite never having done a triathlon before. He trained on a mountain bike, bought a road bike a few weeks before race day and finished his first Ironman on a bag of mixed lollies as nutrition. Six Ironman later, he successfully completed Ultraman Australia twice, shaving 3 hours of his time from the previous year. Along the way he has amassed an impressive knowledge bank that he wants to pass on to you to make your journey as memorable and fulfilling as his.
Sean has 30 years of experience as a biology teacher and psychology teacher. He also has been a school swimming and cross country coach. Through this, he understands the biomechanics of training and competition. Having four university degrees Diploma of Education, Bachelor of Education, Master of Education (Behaviour management) and a Graduation Diploma of Psychology he understands how thought processes enhance athletic performance. Whilst working on student development he gained an understanding of uniqueness of the individual. With these life skills, combined with his effective communication, Sean will help you achieve your goals.
